On October 24, 2022, The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) presented “Night Over America”, in New York City. Our play about real-life narratives of those who’ve been legally persecuted for their HIV status because of outdated and discriminatory laws, written by Jon Robin Baitz and directed by Robert Egan.
“Night Over America” gives voice to those who’ve been criminalized for their HIV status due to outdated, discriminatory laws.
A special thanks to Stephen Belber, Brian Cox, Isaiah Johnson, and L. Morgan Lee for starring in this play, and to Diana Oliva for moderating a panel that featured John Robin Baitz, Senator Dallas Harris of Nevada’s 11th District, Robert Suttle of ETAF’s Council of Justice Leaders.
